This 12th page brings us to the end of the Small Press Idol 2007 entry. This story will be redone and picked up in the “Tales of the Smerdiverse Graphic Anthology” due for publication in late 2009 or early 2010.
Here the DGG’s (Diminutive Green Guys) god-figure has been awakened from his slumber underneath Cahokia Mounds in Illinois near St. Louis. He has just waded across the Mississippi River and walked beneath the St. Louis Arch.
There is a little jerkiness in the continuity here from Page 11. The Small Press Idol rules only allowed 12 pages. The reader here will have to assume and imagine the action between Pages 11 and 12 where Velocity Girl showed up to help Smerd during his crash.
