Friday at Gen Con, the costumers were awesome! Here is an incredibly lifelike (can you say lifelike about an android?) Data.

Here is a girl who looked a little cold in the air conditioning:

Gen Con is also a great place to spend time with movers and shakers in the industry:

Stephen Zimmer, author of “The Exodus Gate” was at a signing at a nearby Borders bookstore and I was able to get away from my Gen Con table to visit with him. The Borders in downtown Indy is a gorgeous fusion of a modern Borders ambiance with a traditional downtown building.

Stephen is an incredible busy man. Soon after we took this picture today in Indy, he had to scoot to Louisville, KY for a film festival. He is also involved in movies and podcasting. I will be a guest on his podcast show this weekend.

Here is the Abyss Walker author Shane Moore spinning his plots for a fan.

Here is card game design genius Nathan Cormier taking a break from a hard day at Gen Con to sit down at my Smerdiverse table. He’s a dynamo con enthusiast! He hardly ever stops!

Tomorrow….Day 3!
