I finally got my biographer Jon to stop playing DDO and to stop Twittering in his own account long enough to post my very first Twitter adventure just as I dictated it to him. Velocity Girl and I just HAD to get out of all this rain in St. Louis. It’s been raining almost nonstop for weeks! But, when your partner has superspeed, taking quick vacations is always an option!

You can follow me on Twitter here and read my first Twitter adventure here.

This year I went Trick-Or-Treating with some very cool Earth children. Below you can see Sabrina (redhead), Emily (brunette), and Max (blond boy) standing in line in Pacific, MO for an event where local businesses and other organizations celebrated the night by giving away free candy. Now that’s MY kind of holiday!

Here’s me posing for pictures with Emily and Sabrina:

Here’s Sabrina’s gorgeous princess costume:

Here’s Sabrina’s little brother Max as a vampire! Don’t be scared. You can see in the picture that the sun is up, so he can’t be a real vampire.

Hi, folks! Welcome to the relaunch of the official Smerdiverse website! My biographer Jon Klement has done an okay job blogging about my adventures so far, but I decided to take a more personal hand in things.

Since coming to Earth two years ago, I’ve made a lot of friends among you humans, especially over the Internet with Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.

Here on Smerdiverse.com, you’ll be able to get all the latest on my adventures as well as those of my fellow p’ckit dragons and the costumed heroes of the Smerdiverse, like my host Velocity Girl.

My webcomic updates every Sunday and my Twitter Adventures update on Wednesday and Saturday. The webcomic is right above this blog and you can get to my Twitter Adventures by clicking the link in the nav bar at the top of this page.

Feel free to add me as your friend on Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace! It’s always great to meet new Earthlings!

At the past two Hypericons, I have been blessed to make the acquaintance of author Mari Adkins, author of the Harlan County Vampires series.

Smerd took an instant like to Mari, so much so that he insisted on going home with her this past Hypericon 2009. He has found a wonderful new home with Ocean, Mari’s niece. He and Ocean can be seen here in one of Smerd’s rare photo ops.

I am blogging live from the basement of Eric Thomas, game designer of the Hacktastic d/20 RPG for Black Pigeon Press. This is my first experience gaming Hacktastic d/20, but I have attended cons with the Black Pigeon Press crew since Anime St. Louis 2008.

These guys run packed gaming rooms filled with laughter, dice rolling, and caffeinated beverage imbibing. My character tonight is an elven martial artist. We have just fought off a goblin raiding party in the game world and are about to order some pizza in real life.

Eric and his partner Craig Slate have put together a quick, clean gaming system and a compelling “swords & sorcery” world setting. At several cons and GameClubHQ Game Days, I’ve had the chance to spend some time with these guys and see their large, fanatical Hacktastic following of “Hackers” enjoying these guys’ storytelling abilities.

At the recent Archon 33, I pitched the idea to Eric and Craig of doing novels for the Hacktastic World setting. I am pleased and proud to announce that I am working on the first (of hopefully many to come) Hacktastic novels! The first one, “The Trouble with Trulks” is to be tentatively available in time for Anime St. Louis 2010.

Oops, gotta run….time to roll initiative.

In the meantime, check out Black Pigeon Press and the Hacktastic d/20 RPG.

Here’s our adventuring party: an elven martial artist/archer, a human man-at-arms, a human tomb raider/thief, a gutter gnome, and a trulk shaman.
