Jon’s first writing career started in 2005 and lasted until 2012, when, during a period that combined divorce, unemployment, bankruptcy, and a child custody battle, he became homeless and lived on the street for a time. Since the beginning of 2024, Jon has begun his second writing career.
2005 – 2012: Jon published books and short stories that exist in both print and eBook form, fiction only.
2024 – present: Jon publishes serialized fiction on Tapas.io. One of the great things about the Tapas platform is that Jon can offer his books completely for FREE since Tapas compensates authors with a percentage of ad revenue. Readers can financially support the author simply by subscribing to series and liking chapters.
In 2024, Jon began publishing non-fiction as well, primarily to support the Divorced Dad’s Dojo, Hearts of the Fathers Ministries, C.A.S.A.–Christians Against Spiritual Abuse, and Rabbit Runner Ministries, though there are a few other non-fiction books on the way that don’t fit directly into those categories.
If you’ve found yourself in the trenches of divorce court, facing battles you never imagined, this book is your guide through the chaos. “Divorced Dad’s Dojo” isn’t for those with “amicable” divorces, but for the warriors like yourself, fighting tooth and nail for your rights and your children.
Rabbits can be a powerful force for food independence. Anyone of any age or fitness level can raise rabbits for meat. Learn how to guarantee your family a healthy, natural meat source in times of rising food costs, genetically modified and “lab grown” meat, and an uncertain future for our society’s food supply.
“Judgment begins in the House of the Lord.”–1 Peter 4:17
This book is for people who have been wounded and hurt by people professing to be Christians, but who destroy other people’s lives, all while claiming to act in Christ’s Name.
